Most people who try to " get healthy " will come across Braggs at some point. It

is PURE MSG, and I avoid it like the plague. It is a type of unlabeled MSG, so

they get away with calling it a health food, but the simple term " amino " means

it is full of amines-another MSG type compound. You can make a truly HEALTHY

" soy sauce " by just blending some good real sea salt with a little unsulphured

molasses-can't tell a difference in flavor, and no funky stuff!

read the benefits while surging the net one day. Well. I also just read a lot

of negative stuff about it. Like it gives you varicose veins and palpitations

and it's made with hydrocloric acid, etc.

Hi ,

We can buy SOY SPROUTS in any supermarket, plus tofu, soy sauce, miso, soy

everything,

even the SPROUTED beans as 'natto'. I avoid all of it 95%, unless etiquette

demands

consuming a little.

I like Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar, but would rather use some homemade stuff.

Bragg's Aminos is soy, and almost all soy these days is GMO, plus soy is NOT a

human food.

See Dr. Tim O'Shea's http://www.thedoctorwithin.com

Bragg picked up his son's wife, , and she masqueraded as his

daughter.

They were/She is into business, sad to say. Morals, ethics anyone? He borrowed

or bought the rights to a lot of his information. The late Dr. R.

is the real thing.

His wisdom is at http://www.herballegacy.com

However, after ye olde SPROUTS have sprouted, (in the garden, that is) having

had organic soybeans in the soil the previous season would have been good.

Aminos??

If someone has a problem with Soy Beans then they may not like this

product. I have it and use it. We need amino acids to build protein in

our bodies.

Bragg Liquid Aminos are made from health-giving, NON-GMO soybeans and

purified water. They are an excellent, healthy, gourmet replacement for

Tamari and Soy Sauce. Not fermented or heated and Gluten-Free.

Bragg Liquid Aminos is a Certified NON-GMO liquid protein concentrate,

derived from healthy soybeans, that contains the following Essential and

Non-essential Amino Acids in naturally occurring amounts:

*16 Amino Acids*

- Alanine

- Arginine

- Aspartic Acid

- Glutamic Acid

- Glycine

- Histidine

- Isoleucine

- Leucine

- Methionine

- Phenylalanine

- Proline

- Serine

- Threonine

- Tyrosine

- Valine

- Lysine

Mel,

I know you've already thrown away the bottle, but I was wondering if you

read what they say about it at the Bragg's website...

http://bragg.com/products/bragg-liquid-aminos-soy-alternative.html? I

know I would be leery if I saw claims of something being made with

hydrochloric acid, so I don't judge you for being cautious.

But could someone else, knowledgeable about chemistry & such, help

answser the concern? I see nothing on the page that indicates anything

harmful. Except possibly to people who are very sensitive to MSG. If

they are using hydrochloric acid or some such stuff and it's not

listed... is that false advertising?
