No should I be? I wanted to learn a little more about Valtrex and LDN before starting them. I have spoke with our DAN doc and he said we will talk about adding these things at next visit. I was also thinking about Virastop. Does anyone have thoughts on that? LDN is low dose naltexone. You can read all about it at lowdosenaltrexone.org. I haven't used it yet so I don't know that much. a Sharon Buckle wrote: What is

Thanks for sharing Dr. Usman's recommendation for scripting with these homeopathics. Please give us an update. I'm very interested in learning more about it. My son has had scripting problems for so many years. I've tried many interventions, but was never able to successfully eliminate it.

I also would love to get an update on these homeopathic supps. That

is interesting that strep can cause scripting. My son's scripting is

pretty minor for the most part, but now that you mention scripting

could be virus related, I have noticed it has declined quite a bit

recently as I have increased his virastop enzymes. I recently heard

Jeff Bradstreet's lecture about strep causing OCD, but I don't

remember him mentioning scripting. Very, very intersting. Please let

us know what happens. It would be so nice to be rid of scripting

altogether.

No, but you could, I was just curious. A lot of people who can't get a RX for Valtrex use virastop. Hi Kersten,

I would like to try these homeopathics on my son to see if it'll help with scripting. Could you tell me the dosage and frequency Dr. Usman recommended?

Do you give these in addition to all of the supplements/herbals/medication? What supplements do you give to your son now?

My son is currently doing

Valacyclovir 250mg 3x/day

Fluconazole 150mg 1x/day

GSE 125mg 3x/day

Olive Leaf extract 250mg 3x/day

With all of these anti-fungal, anti-yeast supplements, my son still has yeast flare ups. He gets the red ears and vocal stimms...which are all signs to yeast. I'm looking into trying either the Goldenseal or the homeopathics.

Thanks in advance for any help or input.

and Kersten,

I too would like to try these homeopathics with my daughter. She has used scripting as her main form of verbal communication since she's been verbal. She'll be 5 in May. We switched DAN! drs. about a month ago and our current dr. is concentrating on the yeast more heavily than our previous one, which is a good thing. I'd now like to have her look into the homeopathics that you mentioned. My daughter takes lots of supplements: zinc, CLO, OmegaBrite, l-theanine, l-Carnitine, Ther Biotics Complete, lithium orotate, caprylic acid, Melatonin, vit. C, Houston Enzymes, Folinic Acid, to name some, along with Fluconazole. Our DAN also just gave the okay to start GSE, ViraStop and OLE, which I will phase in one at a time, We also will start mb12 nasal spray probably this evening. I'm hoping that we will get out of 'scripting' mode soon with all the upcoming supplement additions. Any suggestions to help with this, especially with the homeopathics would be appreciated.

Karmen

I've said it before, and I'll say it again....we LOVE Fire Tree Bark-a natural anti-fungal. I think it works just as well as Diflucan. You can order it from Dr. Hicks at Pathways Medical. www.pathwaysmed.com It is abit like witch's brew to make, so email me offline if anyone needs help. We alternate this with Diflucan and GSE/NoPhenol. a DeNofa wrote: For yeast we use GSE, Candidase, No Phenol and Biotin.kcboone <kcboonecomcast (DOT) net> wrote: and Kersten, I too would like to try these homeopathics with my daughter. Sorry for the delay...you know how it is being an ASD parent-up's and down's-many downs at this house the past week.... You take the homeopaths with all the other supps, introducing one every four days until on all (like any other supps). You must store them away from electrical devices, and they must be taken in water, or milk-or directly on tongue 15 minutes from food. My son has a protocol catered to his genetics from Usman-who follows some Yasko stuff. I am at work, so I don't have all dosages and supps memorized, but this is a synopsis of what we are on... Healthy Trinity Probiotics Vitamin K2 drops Omega 3 drops by Clayton Naturals (instead of CLO) Pleo Staph, Pleo Strep, and Pleo Not Homeopaths Nucleotide Methyl B12 shots HB12 Supp. Pine Tree Bark

(also for strep bacteria) Diflucan rotated with Fire Tree Bark GSE as needed for yeast Magnesium Zinc Evening Primrose oil on skin L-Glutathione creme for detox EDTA suppositories for chelation Liver Life-3 drops Kidney Tone-3 drops Chelate Mate-2 capfuls Valtrex-750mg a day I think this is it, but I could be wrong. My son has an almost healed gut, excema, some food allergies, self-stim behaviors, echoalia/scripts. He used to have severe gi issues with bms, but we have fixed that problem thank the Lord!
