Guest guest
You've been very consistent with your workouts. Keep it up! It might like it's taking a long time, but that's almost a pound a week. That's really good. When I first lost weight, I averaged 2 pounds a MONTH, but I kept it going for a long time. I started at 196 and went to 132 that way. Who cares how long it takes as long as you keep going in the same direction? I think CLX will work well that way. There's also no reason why you couldn't combine it with the swimming. STS is Cathe's " Shock Training System " . Here's the link:http://cathe.com/sts/about.php On Sun, Aug 16, 2009 at 9:32 PM, Jen aka aka wrote: Hi , I'm going to start CLX again soon and I think I will walk outside for my cardio too instead of doing CLX cardio but I'm going to try and get in two walks a day. That's how I lost weight before so I know it works for me. I lost some inches around my waist but I don't know how much because I haven't measured. People are starting to notice and asked me if I lost weight. I've lost about 6 pounds over the last 7 weeks which is great but not enough to make me look like I lost weight. I think that I lost the inches from doing so much water exercise in my pool and from swimming. I'm planning on swimming 4 days a week in the fall so I hope this continues. It makes me feel good when people ask if I've lost weight because I look thinner What is STS? Where did you get the 6 month rotation from?Curious, Jen I have one more week of CLX left to go. Yesterday I missed my cardio because I woke up with a terrible headache. I did manage to walk about 40 minutes later in the day. Thankfully, the headache vanished. Today I woke up feeling great. I did Lean Circuit 3. This was my third time through. I upped my weights on almost everything. That one has a ton of chest flyes, planks, push ups, Arnold presses, and shoulder presses. Did squats with 50 pounds. Will add my weight vest next time I get to those squats. I felt pretty good when I finished, so I grabbed The Kettlebell Way. I skipped the shoulder presses, chest presses and abs, but did the rest with my 15 and 20 kbs. That felt heavy afer CLX. I was TOAST by the time I got to the bonus round. I couldn't do the snatches safely even with the 12 pound bell. I did 5 on each side and felt like my arms might detach from my torso. I like having arms, so I stopped. Happy workouts! Guest guest
, You are STRONG! Where did you get your weight vest? I'm trying to figure out what the best deal, what size etc. I would like to wear one when I do /stairs etc and use it for some strength training. a > > I have one more week of CLX left to go. Guest guest
Thanks a, but not really: I meant to say that I did the " extreme " squats with the 50 pounds. That's just 3 reps each time. I got mine on amazon.comhttp://www.amazon.com/Fitness-by-Cathe-10-Pound-X-Vest/dp/B001FB61AG/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8 & s=sporting-goods & qid=1250540898 & sr=8-5 I also heard that Cathe will be releasing a 20 lb version. Not sure if I need that one yet. , You are STRONG! Where did you get your weight vest? Guest guest
Wow!! Awesome results, !!! Re: CLX and kettlebells today Hi Darcy,Thanks! My sore butt was my alarm clock this morning. I'm quite sore through my hamstrings, glutes, entire back, and shoulders. OK, everything hurts so good, LOLOL.Yes, I did each phase for 4 weeks. I didn't miss a single strength workout. The only thing I've varied on is the cardio. I have substituted other cardio. A couple of times, I missed my Friday morning cardio, but I added the cardio to my Saturday CLX strength workout by doing a hill walk, etc. I like your plan a lot. I think it'll work beautifully. I don't get bored repeating the same strength workouts for a month, but I do get bored doing the same cardio workouts. I'd mostly rather escape outdoors. STS is going to work out just fine for me. I'm doing the 6 month rotation for that reason.I've lost 3.25" from my waist since I started CLX. My hip to waist ratio has improved. YAY! Perimenopause was killing my waist to hip ratio, and that's an unhealthy trend. it's mostly due to logging my food diligently and sticking to my calorie goals. It really has helped me to be able to log foods from my blackberry. It makes it super easy, and I stick to it. I've been eating clean, too. (I love my healthy food.)Happy Sunday! I'm so anxious to do different videos for a week!Darcy On Sat, Aug 15, 2009 at 5:29 PM, A. M. <plantpoweredgmail> wrote: I have one more week of CLX left to go. Guest guest
LOL! I'm glad it helps. I'm really enjoying the Lean phase, and I'm not sure which one I truly like better. I think I enjoy the one I do on Saturdays the best because I have more time. BC3, PC3, and LC3 always fell on Saturdays. (enjoying a rest day -- walks and yoga later...) Great job, ! I use your positive outlook of CLX to push through my CLX workouts, lol. Though, from what you describe LC3 sounds more enjoyable than LC1 and LC2. I'll keep telling myself that as my turn for it gets closer this week, heh. Glad to hear that you kept your arms in tact, too. LOL Sara > > I have one more week of CLX left to go.
