More info on flax, please ?

Thanks to and to Meghan for their replies. I may try the cracker

idea....but, when do I know that the flax seeds are ready? Regular sprouts

are pretty obvious when they are " done. " What are the characteristics of

the flax seeds when they are ready to be used?
