Can you sprout lentils straight up?

I have lentils that I have sprouted in my sprout garden. Nice and long sprouts.

Two sprouts come out of one lentil.

Can I put these in coir and would they grow straight up like the sunnies and the

pea shoots?? That would be SO COOL!!!
