Guest guest
Ooh! I second that! I'm looking forward to making a raw hummus from sprouted garbanzos/chickpeas. I love hummus made the traditional way, with chickpeas, tahini (sesame seed butter), olive oil, lemon juice and salt, but you can adapt the recipe to make a dip to fit your tastes. There is a recipe for hummus in the Files section of this group's site or check out the one in the Snacks & Appetizers section under Recipes at http://sproutpeople.org/recipes/appetizers/hummus.html <http://sproutpeople.org/recipes/appetizers/hummus.html> I think I have to go see if the garbanzos I got at Whole Foods will sprout now! ~ > > you can make hummus with sprouted chickpeas, too! > > > On Wed, Feb 22, 2012 at 1:47 PM, Holly Canfield Canfield99@...wrote: > > > ** > > > > > > So, I have my first batch of sproutpeople spring garden pea/chickpea mix > > sprouting.
