Guest guest
its not that i seem to catch a cold easier, but when i get one there hard to get rid of.Last year i had i cold stick around for one full month,so i suppose the body with suppressed immune system has hard time fighting it off.I still have not got my flu shot yet either, not really any excuse either just keep putting it off.Not very good idea cause its suppose take up 2 weeks to kick-in.Take care. d.Canada Do you get lots of colds? Hi everyone, I was wondering if any of you catch lots of colds and how does your body handle it? My daughter brought home a cold from school, and her symptoms lasted 4 days, I suuffered for 15 days! This was just recent and I have noticed this seems to be normal for me now. This has made me freaked out about germs. I am concerned about those of you in the USA with the shortage of Flu vaccines. Are you able to get your flu shots? I would think you would be consider high risk. K Post your free ad now! Yahoo! Guest guest
I definitely agree. My colds last a month or two now for all the symptoms to finally go away - with the stupid cough going last. I guess our bodies know that we don't have a decent immune system anymore. Guest guest
Hi , I am not supposed to take a flu vaccine. But to answer your question yes I get lots of clods and they usually turn into Pnomionia(sp). The doctors tell me the Stills also affects the insides as well as the outside. That's why I have a lung doctor and a heart doctor along with my Arthritis doctor. Guest guest
I don't know if this is related or not, but in the months before I was floored by Stills I had a seemingly seemless cold for 6-7 weeks. I had a constant sore throat, all of the normal flu aches and pains, ear aches, the whole nine yards. I haven't had one yet this year outside of my "resort" stays, and hope to keep it that way as I know one more straw on this camels' back is likely to break it! Kirk Do you get lots of colds?
