Carey,

Good luck with your surgery on Wednesday. It's okay to be concerned but I'm sure your doc knows what he is talking about. I've had those fears myself and I've had so many surgeries that I've literally lost count, lol.

Prayers for you,

OK.....This might sound silly.....but I'm getting really nervous about this surgery on Wednesday. Not so much about the surgery itself, but being put to sleep....I have this fear of something is going to happen while I'm under anesthesia. Just because I'm on all these meds. The Docs keep reassuring me that its OK that I'm taking the meds and not to stop. But really I cant stop taking them.O lordy.....I'm just ranting tonight. Just to relieve some stress, hope you all don't mind. Just say a little prayer for me that everything goes well :)Carey in NJ Visit the Still's Disease Message Boardhttp://disc.server.com/Indices/148599.htmlThe materials and information contained in this message

Carey, I know just how you feel. It's scary!! It turly is. I get so scared because I died during one surgery I had. So now I feel that something will always go bad and yes I feel it's because of the meds I was on too even though the doctors say no. I have to have another surgery and my Arthritis doctor say he will be giving me Preds before during and after, but I am still not looking forward to when this will happen. LOL

I will pray for you my friend.

Dear Marilyn,

I am wondering why the Anesthesiologist didn't warn me about the Celebrex. Or even tell me to stop taking it for a while if I could. I'll tell you though.......I think I might have the gist of the feeling of some of those bad headaches Kirk, has gotten. Because the pain I felt over the weekend in my right eye/forehead, felt like the worse headache I have ever had! The pressure in my eye was so unbearable. It's funny how quickly I have recovered from that. I haven't taken and Celebrex since Friday night. And I am definitely feeling the pains else where (Wrist/Shoulders/Hips). I have been taking Tylenol Arthritis, because I cannot take any of those pain killers either, as they will cause the same problem as the Celebrex, I'm told. Nothing with Aspirin in it. I go Wednesday to see my Opthamologist. Hoping I can start taking the Celebrex soon. But my eye has improved. The funny thing is........is that in all actuality my left eye was my BAD eye. And here now I'm having all the problems with my right. My left eye feels totally healed except to look at it, it is all red colored where the whites of my eye should be. I'm just glad it's all over with and now I'm on a good recovery schedule. Thanks for thinking of me..........

Love,

Carey
