I have noticed that people in this group do it both ways. I prefer that my mung

beans not be green. I think that they are sweeter if you stop sprouting them

just before a leaf begins to form. Some others do let them green up. So, you

need to experiment to see what you think is best for your taste buds.

Bean sprout question

Are you supposed to green up bean sprouts the same as alfalfa sprouts or do

they just go straight from sprouter to refrig with no greening? Thanks.

Thanks EW, I will try not greening them this time and then greening them the

next to see what I prefer.
