Guest guest
, I have noticed that people in this group do it both ways. I prefer that my mung beans not be green. I think that they are sweeter if you stop sprouting them just before a leaf begins to form. Some others do let them green up. So, you need to experiment to see what you think is best for your taste buds. ew Bean sprout question Are you supposed to green up bean sprouts the same as alfalfa sprouts or do they just go straight from sprouter to refrig with no greening? Thanks.
Guest guest
Thanks EW, I will try not greening them this time and then greening them the next to see what I prefer. > To: sproutpeople > From: 99tomatoes@... > Date: Fri, 2 Mar 2012 08:07:17 -0500 > Subject: Re: Bean sprout question > > , > I have noticed that people in this group do it both ways.
