Guest guest
I am home again after my trip down the highway. If it wasn't school holidays I would have buzzed you Nic for a bite to eat... or slurp in my case. I sit here slurping on chicken & corn soup... which has to be chewed which is ok. He tells me that I am now up to 6.5 - not 7 as I had thought I would be. So I have been 6ml all along. Anyway, we will see how this goes. I get dreadfully depressed when I jump on the scales down there... I am still in triple figures and only 6 odd kilo down. It honestly can't be right???? Makes me wonder really. Interesting how you can have fill and your stomach can rumble all the way home in the car with hunger pangs... very odd. Mel
Guest guest
Hey Mel, Keep your chin up mate, those scales lies at times!!!! Bet if you got a measuring tape out, you would notice a difference in your size. Have you got any oldish clothes you been waiting to get into but were not just there hanging around?? Try them on and then know that you are shrinking finely!! Forget the scales and remember how you are feeling and the great compliments you been receiving about you shrinking. Everyone cannot be wrong right??? Second thought, maybe you need go to shopping and find something gorgeous to buy that fits nearly which would be a much better yardmark than the scales. Hey shopping will put a smile on your face and forget the nasty morning you had well it does for me, sadly I do it too often and now have about 12 items that I nearly into!! Hope the new fill goes well with you. I had one four weeks ago and up to Monday it was really keeping me " good " . I do have to admit for the first fortnight it was hard getting used to this feeling of restriction but then I got used to it and liked how it kept me away from food and thinking of it. Strangely yesterday in particular, I have never ate so much in such a long time, it was unbelievable. I could have eaten the jockey and the horse!!! Today, I feeling abit the same but am restraining myself (dont want to do any damage to the good work I been doing). I purposely had optifast for breakfast to fill me up and it is a struggle. I think it the inconsistencies with this band from one day to another is the hardest with living with it. I was planning on not going back to the surgeon until late November and letting this fill work its magic but if I keep going like this I might just have to make an appointment for next week or the next. Unfortunatly, getting into our man is not so easy as yours. He a General Surgeon and is alway booked out in advance. Do you know if after experience a looseness in your band after awhile whether its likely to tighten itself up again? even if its not as tight as original but is tighter than this. Anyway, I think you doing great!!! Keep it up mate. Cheers kerry from Darwin > > > > > I am home again after my trip down the highway.
