Guest guest
I remember the simpler life. I want to go back to raising my own food. Saying 'howdee' to my neighbors. Pot lucks. Sharing chores. Helping a friend in need. Too many people out there are in need because they are lazy. The system made them that way. I do what I can. Saturday, we canned 13 quarts of kosher style dill spears. Today we are doing tomato and vegetable/tomato juice. Its work, but its fun. And the results are the greatest. I married a city girl, but she learn to can from her mother. BTW: This Friday the 22nd is a special day for us. She has had the privilege of being married to me for 50 years. Re: Aerogarden question O/T I want to know one thing. How on earth did our ancestors survive with no kitchens, no running water, no microwaves, no ovens, no fridges, no indoor bathroom, no indoor PLUMBING, no television, vcr, radio, dvr's, cable, and no supermarkets. How did they survive? How?? They ate real food, they werent' playing video games all day. They gathered by the fire and talked to each other and they grew their own food. Now I like technology as well as the next person, but I would LOVE to go back in time for one day and live like that. I'd be a better human being. lol Melody ---
