Guest guest
Hey everyone. I saw my primary physician today about my swollen neck area. He concurs with me (and the members who responded), that the glands are indeed enlarged. He also feels that the other saliva glands are involved as well as the thyroid. I'm having a CT scan done next Wednesday of the entire neck area to solidify that this is the problem. After I get the results back my doctor wants me to schedule an appointment with and ENT - ear/nose/throat specialist. I also mentioned the oncologist Dr. Gordon, in Los Angeles, that was mentioned in an earlier posting. He thought it was a very good idea to go to someone who has shown a good success in handling this issue. He told me to schedule an appointment with her as well. This way I'll have several opinions and options to go on. The only unfortunate thing is the this Dr. Gordon works at the Century City Hospital here in LA which is one of the hospitals that is due to close. So I'm hoping that she'll land somewhere here. Keep your fingers crossed. I'll keep you posted. Thanks for sharing the info on Parotid Glands. Randy

Guest guest
I'm not aware of any homeopathic remedies, but I understand that the problem is related to CD8 helper cells. There have been some postings recently on CD8s, and I was wondering if anyone has put together a way of dealing with this parotid issue, too. --- Sharpe wrote: > > > Is anyone aware of homeopathic remedies to deflate > enlarged parotid glands? > I am aware of radiation as being an option. > thanks, > > > > > > > >
