Guest guest
Hi Darcy! Congrats on your new clients! Sounds like your business is going fabulous! Yay! I'm doing CLX for a minimum of three weeks - during which I will try all the workouts once. Then, depending on how I feel about CLX (or if I need a break from videos) during week three, I'll either switch to something else or continue with CLX for another 2 weeks or so - either starting over with my rotation or planning a new rotation by picking some of my favorites. I'll add in the cardio, interval, and abs workouts from CLX at random, including other cardio and abs during the rotation as well. For the first two weeks I'm not adding anything on, as I've been struggling to get to and enjoy my workouts lately. So, I'm starting small to get my groove back - and may add on to the workouts by week three. My rotation starts like this: Week one - Burn 1 Push 1 Lean 2 Week two - Burn 3 Push 3 Lean 1 Week three - Burn 2 Push 2 Lean 3 So far, I liked Burn 1 yesterday more than I thought! Today was a treadmill video, and I'll post more CLX thoughts tomorrow, after I finish Push 1. Thanks for asking! Guest guest
Cool to know Sara. I'm starting to feel that I should have done something similar...UGH... I am so missing my heavy lifting and not Chalean's style. I'm thinking if I can stick this one out for 2 more weeks, then I have a recover week, then a month of NON-compound moves (Lean), it might be downhill from there....... Darcy Hi Darcy! Guest guest
Uh oh. Lean has lots of compound moves. I dropped down in weights a bit compared to Push.. You'll probably like Push better. Guest guest
Hi Darcy, I give you a lot credit for planning to do the original rotation!! Good luck - but don't feel bad if you end up changing the rotation a bit. You gotta go with what you enjoy, right? I was initially going to do 1-2 weeks of each phase - but then changed my mind when mentioned the Lean for Life rotation. I think I'll really like mixing up the phases every week - and Wednesday will be my favorite workout day, of course - for the non-compound exercises of the Push Phase. From what I've read, the Burn Phase " contains compound exercises that work the upper and lower body at the same time using moderate to heavy weights " . The Lean Phase " contains strength-circuit workouts that hit the entire body, with functional dynamic movements " . And the Lean Phase adds 3 breakdown reps to every exercise, so they are a bit longer. But can probably tell you more, since she's actuall done them, lol. Sara > > Cool to know Sara.
