Yikes

Husband just informed me that school will be out in 6 weeks - Dan does not

qualify for summer school. What am I going to do with him all summer - a boy

going through puberty - Yikes.

At least he has Boy Scouts and will be camping with them every month for a

weekend and he will go to summer camp for a week long adventure and we have a

vacation schedule for a week - but the summer is so long.

What are you guys doing during the summer? He can't watch t.v. all day or stay

on the computer all day either.

It sounds like he will be pretty busy! K is a Girl Scout and is going to camp for a week, her troop wants to do a lot more activities this summer too. She will go to VBS at least once and she usually spends 2-3 weeks in Chicago staying with her grandparents and my sister and cousins. That's something she looks forward to every year, and it's my only break all year long..BTW, we homeschool so she's home all day long, but I'm so grateful for things like enrichment, classes at the rec center and gymnastics so I can get regular breaks when I'm not working.Kiara>> Husband just informed me that school will be out in 6 weeks - Dan does not qualify for summer school.
