Vickilynn,

When you say a large VitaMix container, are you saying the normal

container? I have a Blendtec, so am trying to convert. Approx how much

water?

Thanks for this information. I'm going to assemble these ingredients and

try this out!

Just as an aside, I was wondering how to use my 25 lbs of organic almonds

(which turned out to be pasteurized! Un " sproutable " (I know, it's really

unsoakable.) This looks like a good way. Now I need to find a good source

of organic chia that I can buy in volume.

Thanks, Vickilynn. Do you drink all of one recipe a day?

Hi Pam,

Yes, I drink it over the course of the whole day. I have it for my

breakfast, then perhaps in-between meals, especially in the late afternoon

when I tend to get " peckish " and " slumpy. "

Because the green powder has chocolate and herbs that promote energy, I

don't drink it past about 6 PM, so it won't keep me up.

I keep the container in the fridge and I find I need to whiz it up just

before drinking to re-mix all the goodies that have settled to the bottom.

I hope you like it as much as I do :-) Remember add any fruits or veggies

that you like once you taste it. I drink it as it is because I try to keep

my carbs low for diabetes, but it makes a wonderful base for other

additions.

Many farmers managed to expose the almonds to 15 seconds of steam and still

qualify for pasteurized. I ordered some and soaked off the enzyme inhibitors,

then lo and behold, they still sprouted, so it is worth a try.
