Guest guest
Happy Birthday Deb! Steve, that was a wonderful ponder this morning. I'm hoping for a relaxing day and uneventful if possible. Of course I just jinxed the whole thing, but I have faith. Thank You Toots and Everyone, I am the one blessed with so many loving and supportive online family members. Couldn't have made it this far without all of you and especially Liz who I love to aggravate the hell out of for so long. It's my stress reliever - Thank You !!!!!!! Each and every one of us is a totally different personalty that just adds to our very unique loving and supportive partnership. It is impossible to list each person and how truly I appreciate their friendship and how much they have helped me along the way and enriched my life. But Pat Honey I have know you almost as long as Liz and I can definitely say - Honey you are one of a kind and where would we all be without our Pat Stories and the laughter and joy you have given to so many with your being completely honest and open especially about all your antics and all the shit you end up in. Lost In The Winn-Dixie is a classic that will go down in the online support group history books !!!!!!! It was the Winn-Dixie wasn't it ???? OK Pat time for another Pat Story when you are feeling better. Love and Hugs To ALL of You. Take Care and God Bless. Deb

Guest guest
Karac appears to like Ayden, but he doesn't seem to know exactly how to interact with him. I think it makes him a little nervous. Sara, I think the things you told e are so important. I appreciate your explaining the system to her. I wish my DIL had understood that you have to be involved and care about what goes on in your child's school life. I know you will be a great advocate for your boys. I can tell from your programs that you are an outstanding special ed teacher. Is there a possibility of you ever going back to teaching? Pat K Re: Good morning That's funny. In january he fell and scratched his cheek, since then he has been scratching it with his fingers constantly. In 4 months it has become a wound, and wont heal, while he continues to scratch. We apply moisturizers and at night we apply polysporin antibiotic ointment. I would like some suggestions to deal with this, so he stops scratching his cheek and the wound heals. Guest guest
In a perfect world, we would all trust each other to do what we are supposed to do, but it isn't so. We tend to be lazy and do the minimum amount of work that is acceptable to others. You have to be an advocate in matters that concern your children. No, I don't think I'll ever go back to teaching. I like making my programs too much:) They take up a lot of my time, and I would not be able to do both. Guest guest
Well, your programs are awesome. About how long does it take to make each program? Do your boys like them? I imagine that you get a lot of satisfaction out of making them I'm not very creative, but I got a lot of satisfaction out of making little reading books for Karac with his Edmark words. Well, it will soon be time to go get him, and I want to get the rest of my email. Guest guest
Pat K, I love that story! We had a good day yesterday and today --- yesterday Lily and I went to her little girlfriend's house... took , it was nice for me and for Lily to have some "alone" time At 's little social Skills session last week, we were leaving, and he said, "by miss C" (his therapist), and without a prompt or anything he said by to a little boy in his social class, saying, "bye tent" (Trent is about 6 months older than ) --- made my heart happy --- mostly today, he said, "tent sad." He remembers that Trent cried a little last week....makes my heart happy. e To: AutismBehaviorProblems Sent: Sunday, May 3, 2009 9:13:51 AMSubject: Re: Good morning How is everyone doing this morning? I thank God for Ermilbecause I had Ayden(great grandson) all day. When I took Karac home last night he gave us all a big laugh. He was so excited that his mother had made meatloaf for supper thathe went all around the house dancing and singing, "Happy little meatloaf".. Can you imagine getting that much joy out of meatloaf? Guest guest
Stacie, DH has a acoustic neuroma brain tumore that is growing. This morning he had what is called a Gamma Knife procedure. It is a heavy dosage of radiation that is targeted at the tumor to hopefully kill it or cause it to shrink. We won't know for 6 months if the treatment was successful. Everything went well and we are back at home. Thanks for caring. I pray you are having a good day. Love and blessings, Pat K Re: Good morning .. The Average US Credit Score is 692. Guest guest
Sara, thanks for the prayers. Things went very smoothly. We are home and we will know in 6 months if the treatment was effective. Karac loved your "Yummie, Yummie" program. He loves to eat. and I think the Earth program is excellent. We will look at it again and again. Thanks, Pat K Re: Good morning Yikes. Guest guest
Every thing went smoothly. We are home and DH is resting. We will not have results until about 6 month when he is to have another MRI, but with all the prayers we are expecting good results. Thanks for prayers and hugs. We got home a little after 12:00; in plenty of time for me to get Karac from school and take him to SpiritHorse. Karac did awesome. When we got there his therapist was busy; so Karac just proceded to brush and saddle the horse. By the time therapist was ready, Karac had the horse all ready except for putting the bridle on. I can tell he is gaining a lot of confidence in commanding and controling the horse. Have you pursude getting JJ back into horseback riding? How is the weather? Is it still raining?
