Guest guest
t is expensive, but I think NT kids are just as expensive if not more so. Spots camp sounds good. Blessings, Pat K What is your ASD child going to do for the summer? > > > > > > > > > I am curious what everyone is planning on doing this summer. In my area, we have a variety of summer camps that are a week old for kids in general, but the only one that is designed for ASD kids AND does NOT come with a giant price tag got filled up in a New York minute and my son was not able to get registered. So, I am looking at camps in general, because in my case I will have 4 under 5 at home and I will likely pull my hair out if we do not do something for the older two this summer. > > So what are you doing this summer? > > > Big savings on Dell XPS Laptops and Desktops! Guest guest
Lily's not as expensive as my little buddy --- I don't think I pay 2,500 out of pocket for her every month... LOL --- Oh, my it is soooooooo expensive!!!!!!!!!!! And he needs more!!!! Actually I'm really trying to find a way to tweak his therapy for the fall --- he will be attending our local preschool (public) --- so I will have to give up one of my 8 hundred dollar a month therapists LOL, LOL......it hurts to write that amount... I think I need to move into what insurance can pay more of.....they will pay for speech, OT, and PT up to something or other per year (ours is very generous) ----- with us paying a 25 dollar co-pay --- Ok, I know too much info... I'll email offline with some ideas I have don't want to bore the group LOL Lesley my dear....we have no plans, but as Karac says, "who knows?" LOL ---- actually we have LOADS of therapy leading up to fall...more play therapy too...as a matter of fact one of our therapists is going to swim with him for an hour during therapy this summer (not the OT but our ABA/Floortime therapist...ABA in a pool????? Yes, the floortime part of it makes that possible...it should be fun a few times per week. Lily and I (since she's terrified of bugs...oh my this needs to get better LOL) --- Will be indoors a lot me drinking mint juleps (LOL) and her lemonade.....feet up good ole movies, and Charlie and Lola re-runs!!!! e To: AutismBehaviorProblems Sent: Thursday, April 23, 2009 4:44:18 PMSubject: Re: Re: What is your ASD child going to do for the summer? t is expensive, but I think NT kids are just as expensive if not more so. Guest guest
How are things this morning? Karac was a little nervous, but he paced in the backyard and was calm by the time the bus came. Guest guest
I need for Karac to teach john to pace more efficiently................oh my this panic is out of control...truly he suffers with it, as do we. He cannot self soothe with panic...can with everything else... So we had a good beginning, and then two hours from hell as lily was getting ready for school...he panics the whole time...thinks I'm leaving, which I rarely do......panics that lily is leaving..... Don't worry I am in the process of a picture system, I'm taking them now............................. I'm out of things to try.............he is suffering, and even when we've done pictures before...and we have...it doesn't seem to make a dent in the anxiety..........I'm going to keep trying.... Pat, I just want him to feel better...that's all, I want for to be able to think and learn, and grow, and with his panic, he can't learn when he's in it...........ok, I'm done...rambling again................. e To: AutismBehaviorProblems Sent: Friday, April 24, 2009 10:30:54 AMSubject: Re: Re: What is your ASD child going to do for the summer? Guest guest
is so young to be suffering so much. Karac was older when his anxiety got so intense. I really feel for them. Lately I have prayed "God, I'm not asking you to make Karac well, but please just give him peace of mind". Oh, just told me that he sent my picture of Karac to you. Let me know if you get it. God is good. I just got that picture in a round about way. DIL sent it to my daughter in Californiaa, and my daughter sent it to me. Oh, just said he accidentally sent it to you three times LOL LOL LOL, Pat K What is your ASD child going to do for the summer? > > > > > > > > > I am curious what everyone is planning on doing this summer. Guest guest
can eamil me all night long if he wants LOL, LOL, LOL......you are the best Pat K...I got it and just sent a message...he is darling...so cute, and those glasses are so cool... He's precious I know how much you love him...give him a big hug for me...sweet baby. is suffering...I think it's because he is aware of so much for spectrum...he's truly amazing...the more aware he becomes which is amazing, I'm so grateful, the more he learns to reason and what things mean...the more he panics. I don't want to make a quick move....but I'm praying lots about his and if meds (not zombie like meds) would help take the edge off so he can continue to learn...I know how well they work for me. I'll go into that another time LOL e night To: AutismBehaviorProblems Sent: Friday, April 24, 2009 10:25:58 PMSubject: Re: Re: What is your ASD child going to do for the summer? is so young to be suffering so much.
