Guest guest
No, you would want to space them so they each have enough room to grow-not like sprouts where you just pack them all in there, lol. It should give you spacing on the package, but allow roughly 3 inches between each one. In containers like yours, I stagger them sort of like this, with each X representing a seed: French baby leeks are another great one for containers. Tot soi, and other chinese cabbages to great in containers too! X X X X X X You get the point, I am sure. That gives room for the leaves to blossom out. > > Okay, I just found this site. LOTS OF DECISIONS. I'm not going to buy them here but the nursery that is not to far from my house now sells seeds. If he has any bok choy seeds (or similar), I'll get a pack. Cheap enough. > > Now here's my question. This rectangle planter of mine is about 4 inches by 16. Guest guest
Won't it depend on what kind of plants she puts in as to whether she eats them as they start coming up? And assume the seeds are organic for sprouting before eating them.  Carolyn Wilkerson  ________________________________ To: sproutpeople Sent: Tuesday, March 13, 2012 12:39 AM Subject: Re: , found bok choy seeds  Use the whole pack of seeds. Then we the seedlings get about 2 inches. Thin them out a toss the thinnings in your salad. CAUTION: Do not pull up the seedlings. Cut them off. If you pull them up, you will disturb the roots of the other plants and you might kill them. ew , found bok choy seeds Okay, I just found this site. I'm guessing but it's a nice size planter. Do I use the whole pack of seeds? Thanks, (I have no clue. lol) Mel
