Guest guest
I was wondering if anyone has had problems with their silikon injections (done with proper microdroplet technique, of course) ? Was considering havining injections done in my cheeks (face), but was told by Clinic Estetica that they see alot of guys that are unhappy due to "drift/migration" issues. Havent heard too much from these guys. Thanks RD Mother’s Day is May 9. Make it special with great ideas from the Mother’s Day Guide! Guest guest
RD: I don't know about the individuals Clinic Estetica is referring to. I can only tell you that it has now been 8+ months since my last Silskin treatment and I have NO DRIFT/MIGRATION problems. My cheeks are full and healthy looking, the divots under my cheek bones are gone, and my sunken temples have disappeared. As with all of these treatment options I think it is best to not rely on comments from just one source (including mine!). Try and gather as much info as you can, consult with some good doctors, and then make an informed decision for yourself. Also just a suggestion, maybe the clinic would be willing to contact these unhappy individuals and have them e-mail you with their specific observations. Presumably, since they "see a lot" of people who have had problems, this wouldn't be hard to do. Guest guest
: I had 6 Silikon 1000 treatments which were completed over 1 year ago. I have no signs of " drift/migration " referred in your post. I also keep in touch with many other paople treated by Dr. in LA and have not heard of any cases where the Silikon 100 has moved from the area where it was administered. I am still completely pleased with the restoration of my cheeks!
