Guest guest
What is in 3 part salad mix? alfalfa,  clover, and radish? i have several labeled as salad mix and some have broccoli an others have fennel.  sounds interesting. I bought some to try but I was looking mainly at alfalfa as I knew I liked that in many sandwiches or put into pita bread with a bit of heese and other veggies and ranch dressing or other dressing. I sprouted my 3 part salad mix to which I added some chopped tomatoes, some fresh basil, some sea salt and pepper, some torn up sheets of roasted seaweed, some shredded carrots, some red onions, and some extra virgin olive oil. I cooked some Tempeh and added it to the salad. I could eat this forever. The colors are to die for and it's GOOD!! And people ask me " How can you eat grass? " I respond " I do not eat grass, I make a salad and I use sprouts as the basis for it. To put it simply I grow my own lettuce " All I get from other people is YUCK!! They have preconceived notions and they won't try it. Thank god some of my friends love what I sprout and the lady across the street LOVES when I give her a bag every week and today I spoke to our doctor and I said 'Dr. Fred, we're coming in at the end of the month, do you want some sprouts " . His answer (as usual) was OH SURE!!! Thank god for people with brains who know real food is good food!! Melody > > > What types of sprouts did you use today and how did you use them? I had a sprout salad for lunch with my five part salad mix and as I said I had some sprouted beans in my soup. > > > >
