Guest guest
hon,, its probably, in all liklihood from the anemia caused by the treatment.. Your rbcs and hemoglobin has to be low and that is causing the serious side effects. Are you on procrit and neupogen? What does your doc have to say? No No, YOU are NOT a hypochrondriac,, you ARE feeling these symptoms,, please check with your doc! and then let us know what he has to say!Jackie Subject: symptom questionTo: Hepatitis_C_Central Date: Tuesday, September 30, 2008, 6:40 PM why all of a sudden coming upon halfway through my treatment would I be getting new and worse symptoms? I am shaking badly sleeping like16 hours a day/night if now more. Nausea, vomiting (somtimes), constant headache, dizziness and light headedness. Last week I was in the hospital for 3 days due to an infection in my lungs. The only think I know at all about my recent labs is that my Hemoglobin was 8.7. I was thinking of going back to the ER but I know they think I'm a hypochondriac. thanks Rochelle
Guest guest
I was 16 weeks into my second round of treatment when I started getting extremly bad symptoms , so yes it is possible to all of a sudden get worsening side effects .Zophran works great for nausea and mild sleep meds help also . Talk to your doc about your side effects and what can be done to lessen them . symptom question why all of a sudden coming upon halfway through my treatment would I be getting new and worse symptoms? Guest guest
If my hemoglobin was that low, I’d be on the floor! (I was.) Who cares what they think? Your labs are proof you’re not a hypochondriac. Take care of yourself. Guest guest
You are not imagining these feelings and go to the ER if you need to hon. Putting off medical care can be harmful.
