Guest guest
Thanks Elena! Well I've still got quite a few posts! I did the 15 minute twice since Friday so while I'm not too pleased with myself, I'm not totally disgusted either. It's something. Geeze, maybe I should be a little more harsh?*lol* Sometimes I do " hear " what I'm saying. I'm just slowly building up endurance... I have been pretty good with my diet and I've been trying to eat more reguarly and just more in general and stop the starving crap. I have lost a little but I still need a lot more work on getting more timly with my meals and eating at least 2 meals a days along with 2-3 snacks. I'm trying to be a little more patient with myself and my results. Thanks again! Guest guest
Thanks Elena I don't have a basement (more likely to be called cellar over here and not many people have them!) but working first thing I've setup my bedroom upstairs to 'convert' to workout in, because I have a big fan in there and can open the window wide and also open a window in the other cooler side of the house which with the doors open usually encourages some air movement (as long as it's before it begins to bake in my room!) Jill who's also next to my bathroom so switch on the shower when the cooldown stars then fall into it - heaven.... Humidity - where I used to work we once had some people from Siberia over in Winter and they complained it was too cold in England !!! Guest guest
Meal preparation while doing WW can be super simple or super complex. You could buy WW frozen meals and never do anything other than throw things into the microwave. (However, I wouldn't recommend that!) Good luck on your food venture. ;-) F > > > I still don't know how to eat > > > right, I'm still not eating right or enough. > > > I'm just frustrated with the whole thing. Guest guest
Judie, The one good thing about WW is that it's *REAL* food, not the packages of freeze-dryed, processed substances that resemble food. (like Nutrisystem) In the guide book they give you at WW, they give you plenty of meal ideas and they seem pretty easy to fix. AND every week that you go, they give you a card with easy and healthy recipes on them. The recipes are pretty simple things. Even if you don't like to cook, the recipes seem pretty doable. Ann Marie > > > I still don't know how to eat > > > right, I'm still not eating right or enough. > > > I'm just frustrated with the whole thing. RAISING MY HAND HERE! Yes, I did nutrisystem and the pre-packaged foods can get monotonous, plus some of them taste down-right nasty!!! Ugh!!! NOt all > these plans take into account someone who does exercise alot, but WW > does seem to (even though the still measure success by a scale which > in my opinion is a no-no!). One thing I liked about WW, once you lost your first 10% of your weight, they would allow you an extra point or two per day on the day you exercised. Not too bad! (the 10% is if you weighed 150 lbs, 15 lbs would be 10% of your weight)
Guest guest
The sad thing about this whole situation is that I've been losing the same weight over and over through the years. I'd lose it by dieting and then gain it back slowly a few years later. I could never make what I had done to lose the weight part of my lifestyle to keep the weight off. I've done this a few times in my life, but now thanks to Tae-Bo, I see what I've been doing wrong all along. I was always focusing on the outside and not growing on the inside, and we all know that this doesn't work. In effect I have been on an " eternal diet " because I was always on the chubby side and always trying to manage my weight. We all know better now! Guest guest
Shame on you - it's not a failure to work out every day, stop thinking like that - just try again to re-structure your time to create that morning time slot when you want. I'd had a few false-starts on getting up early (and that's over years not just to workout) but this time after lots of thinking about it, re-organising my room so I can workout in my bedroom and being in this with you and others it is slowly making the difference. Perhaps you need the added motivation of 'having to' when college starts (sorry school is for kids in my English) in which case re-join us then. *HUGS* Jill > I think I have failed this challenge I have been working out everyday, but > most of the time I workout sometime after 3 PM. Guest guest
Ok.......this will count as day one of my own personal three morning challenge. I actually got up at 5 am!! I don't think I'll Tae Bo yet though, as just getting up at this ungodly hour is enough right now, but after I am used to arising so early, I think I will begin to workout. I just got up, so if this doesn't make sense you know why. LOL. But I just thought I'd let you all know!! who can't believe the sun isn't even up yet! *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* Reach your full potential! Guest guest
Has anyone heard of urban rebounding? I saw it on the Today show yesterday and it looked like a lot of fun. It is in the new issue of Fit magazine. Beach
