Guest guest
I actually wondered about this myself when I saw it the first time, but forgot to mention that. Any time you immerse plastic into hot/boiling water or put hot food into a plastic container, there's the risk of leeching chemicals. Unless they give you a guarantee that the product is safely enough made that it won't be an issue. Still, it would be subject to some suspicion, at least on my end. Well, I was going to try and buy one of those EGGIES things. I went online and found a website that gave opinions of various items. And some people were discussing the EGGIES. One of them wrote the following: " God knows what carcinogens might be lurking in that plastic, which could leach out when the Eggie gets immersed in hot water and contaminate the cooking egg " I NEVER thought of that. I will NOT be purchasing this, thank you very much. lol Melody
Guest guest
I have decided NOT TO COOK anymore this summer. I am using hard cooked eggs, and my sprouts and my wild planet tuna and I will be serving sandwiches (with the dough cut out) for me and for Alan. Much easier and my kitchen will stay cool. I mean it almost reached 100 here in Brooklyn two days ago. And this morning we needed jackets because it was cold. What nutty weather. Guest guest
Me, too! Only difference is I WANT one of those EGGIE things, but I don't have TV and couldn't find them with Google. If anyone knows where I can get one, please let me know. You can buy deviled eggs at the only grocery store in town, but they want 3.99 for 6 half eggs. That's 3 eggs for $4 or $16 a dozen. The deli lady told me they sell LOTS of them. Isn't that incredible? So anyway, please let me know if you find out where to get the Eggie. Ann > I have decided NOT TO COOK anymore this summer. Guest guest
http://geteggiestv.com Google search first on the list. Really-you did a google search? That wasn't even challenging. I like challenging searches so I can show off what a master searcher I am. Lee > Me, too!
