Does anyone happen to know the English equivalent (if there is one) of

the Italian " dermoepidermite " ?

There are several hits on the web and in Medline for " dermoepidermitis " ,

but none of them refer to articles by native English speakers.

I found a single American hit for " epidermo-dermatitis " , and nothing by

native English speakers for dermo-epidermitis, dermatoepidermitis or

dermato-epidermitis.

The word appears in a list of indications for a cream designed to treat

eczema-type skin diseases; the list also includes contact dermatitis.

One Italian site I found said that " dermoepidermite " is a common

complication of varicose veins.

All suggestions gratefully received,
