After having a read through many of your emails I'm starting to worry about whether I've chosen the right surgeon, right hospital, right price, etc. I went to see Dr Braniff at Sydney Institute for Obesity and I'm booked in for my lap band surgery on 30 Oct with Dr Ritchie at Sydney Private Hospital. I have private health insurance and I've been told it will cost $5,000 ($6,500 less rebates). I guess I'd just like reassurance about Dr Ritchie because I don't know anyone who's had this surgery before. Look forward to hearing from someone soon.
