Guest guest
Hi Everyone I just finished sprouting many batches of organic lentils (several kinds), short grain brown rice, beans (pinto, anazazi, adzuki, and white beans) we picked up at WFM. I was not ready to place my order with Sproutpeople, so I thought I would try what WFM had to offer besides the Handy Pantry display organic seeds. All of these item were sold in bulk which was a bit cheaper than prepacked. Everything sprouted very well. I am totally pleased. The only thing that did not sprout was the wild rice and the Forbidden Black Rice (a small, sweet rice that tastes like grapes!). These just split from absorbing the soaking water. I did notice on the Sproutpeople website that some sprouted rice could be eaten raw, but I have not tried that. I will have to try it next time before cooking up a batch.
