That was a really good site! After your post, I started thinking about how

prevalent plastic is in my life. I I usually bring my sprouts to work in a

tupperware container, but I think I am going to buy a steel container.

Do you sprout in plastic?

I should have asked, how do you sprout without plastic? I have a hemp bag, but

I have only used it for lentils.

Hi Steve,

Not sure if your question was meant for me, but yes, I do sprout in plastic. I

use both the Easy Sprouter and the Sprout Garden (you can see these in Melody's

videos). Both of these are widely used in the sprouting community. I clean them

very well after each use (not always sanitizing unless needed) and have had no

problems with either method. I do grow sunflower greens on glass 9 " pie plates

with a coir medium and have excellent results with those. I've also used the

Mason jar method of sprouting.
