Guest guest
I have just spent one hour on the internet trying to learn how to understand the various conversion charts when baking with Stevia. I do NOT understand what they are talking about. They say 1 tsp of Stevia equals one cup of sugar. What kind of stevia are they talking about. I have a little bottle of liquid stevia. I put 5 drops in my coffee. That's perfect for me. And I also have the little packets. I have purevia, truvia, stevia in the raw. All the little packets. How many packets equal a cup of sugar? Then they say because it doesn't add bulk you need to find a bulking agent. They say use applesauce or egg whites. How many egg whites? I am SO confused. All I want is to make some sugar free thing that I can have a piece of with my cup of coffee after dinner. I'd like to make a batch of cookies. Maybe vanilla cookies?? How many packets of Stevia would I need to use. Everytime I google " baking with Stevia " I get all different answers. If any of you know how to bake with Stevia and can give me some simple recipes I'd really appreciate it. I haven't gone on youtube yet. I just realized I can probably do that but Alan is going on the computer now and I'm going off of it. So if you use Stevia (and what kind do you use and how much) in your baking, can you please help this person out? And if I learn how to do it, I'll flip it and show you all what I made. Thanks much Melody
