Ann,

I have proof that J's autism came from the shots. he had 2 shots given to him when he was 18 months old. I found out they were "HOT SHOTS"/ that means that the lot number on them was bad. other children had die,gotten autism,etc,, ,,,from that batch. No-I don't think all autism is caused by shots but a good many is. And YES!!!!!!!!! !!!! I love my son to bits!!!!!!!! ! I ran the ASA here for 15 years and have been an advacate for my son (And Others) for a long time. Lois

Ann I don't know what Dr. you go but most don't know their butt from a hole in the ground about autism . And it time to end this, we all have your thoughs and you have yours. And it a free country we can sue who ever, but its not the point this site is to help each other not badger so if you have nothing be positive to say than don't. We have and you a child with autism more to deal with than most can handle and the first is loving and caring for our children. We need to support each other because no one else will and you can count not on the government.

I see what your saying but people get defensive when you attack this subject with

such conviction. Its not about who is right or who is wrong. Its about respect.

As I said before many on this group dont believe vaccines could cause autism

but we dont fight about it because we respect eachothers opinions. They are usually

not given in such a way as you are giving yours.

I dont think you should feel you have to

leave the group. I dont think this

is a subject that ever ever is an easy one

to talk about. It hits a nerve in many and we

are all at times overwhelmed and emotional

due to the fact that..well.. we have children

with special needs. I was personally

only trying to explain to you that we try not

to let our opinions on this subject get the group

going in the wrong direction. Its just never a good

subject to push opinions..either way. I feel strongly

in the belief you so strongly disagree about. BUT

I respect your opinion and you as a person. So i wish

you would stay and lets put this whole subject to rest.

There are so many more positive things to chat about.

We are all here to help the children we love so dearly to become the

best that they can be.

Arguing amongst ourselves will not help us in doing that.

I just have to say that, Ann, you are full of it. Sorry, I just HAD to say that. There is no doubt that something is going on to cause the Autism epidemic nowadays. It is not from birth, even if there is a genetic component that may help cause the Autism. Vaccines DEFINITELY have something to do with it, but since you're in the medical field, is that right?, you will not admit it.

I didn't get involved in the debate about the shots. But I can say that it is not typical of our group we are a careing and supportive group and we don't normally get up set or make others upset. I love this group and am asking you not to leave...
