Guest guest
Now, looking back, I believe was born with Autism too. Right from the start, the minute he came out and he did not cry. I asked why is my baby not crying and they said he is content and wants his mommy. Then he did cry. But, from the time he was born, till about 6 mths we could not go anywhere where there were people, because would cry contstantly and not stop till I took him to a place where it was just him and I or just us, as in our family here at home, and my mom for the most part. After 6 mths, he was the perfect baby, would go anywhere and was happy and would not cry hardly at all. Stacie I do know that kids are born with autism and that nothing induces the autism in any way. I am not being judgemental just honest. If you really believe that injsctions caused your sons autism go for it but you will get nowwhere but don't take me word for it do it if you know it for sureAnn Subject: Re: This is good news...............To: AutismBehaviorProblems Date: Friday, February 27, 2009, 2:53 AM Ann, I know my son and I know what happened to him. Guest guest
Well, I have to add to this too. Today at the Dr, we were taling about all three of my kids. Now, and are from Jim, and Lexie is from a previous relationship. She said we will talk about this more next week, but she said both of the ones from your husband have Autism and your child from someone else does not have it. It is on your husbands side more then likely. And, he has a cousin who has a child with severe Autism too. And all three of my kids got the same shots too. So, like I said, I am on the fence about alot of this, but wont say one way or another because I rfeally cant say I know for sure. That is just my two cents. Stacie Ann, I only check this site everyother day. where did you get that a child is made up like this? And then tell me the rate of allergies and the ffects that children have and then tell me the latest topic on this and then tell me when the EPIDEMIC of autism started? Yes I said EPIDEMIC. Besides our world is falling apart financially the children of tommorrow have a epidemic growing faster than cancer and you want to tell me it is genetics! THis is a governmental cover up. Guest guest
Hi, can you explain these hot shots to me? In my sons case I believe the shots did this to him. Not everyone can handle any substance. this could mean foods drugs, ect. My son had terrible ezema at one month old. I thought it was from all of the oil that he had put on himfrom his batism. this ezama turned up one day after his baptism. OnOne month later he received 5 shots. He still had a terrible out break with ezama. He had a auto immune disease happening. He was technically sick but was still given shots. Whether the mercury did this or all of the viruses put together I dont know. I do know when I seperated the shots when he was five, the first shot he recieved was pertussis. his arm swelled up unimaginablly. All the nurses even came to see him. My son has allergies. Not every one can handle everything. He has not had anymore shots since. I wont allow. this is the problem. Thanks for listening. Guest guest
In my opinion (for what it is worth) autism has different causes and no one cause will be found. I know was born with it and the lack of oxygen he experienced during labor probably played a part. I believe there will be a genetic predisposition to the disorder and an environmental incident that activated it. Not every child who has lack of oxygen will end up autistic, shots do not give all kids autism but in some it is the trigger, the trigger could be viral or an infection. It makes me so sad that we add this fight to the list of all of the stress and challenges we face daily. We all have different experiences and different ideas of the how and whys of autism but we all have the SAME love for an autistic child. We should accept each others points of view and move on. I don't want to change yours or want you to try to convince me to change mine. I just want to share this journey with other people who can understand and be able to give and receive advice and support. I love this group. Guest guest
Ok Autism is in a childs genes. When my grandson was diagnosed, at the age of ten, after being labled and disruptive and a bad child we were to be honest a bit relieved as it did explain a lot of his behaviour. As we asked a lot of questionsespecially my daughter as she felt some how it was maybe something she had or had not done, we got a lot of answers and one of them was about injections. We were told there was no way any injections that would in any way cause or contribute to the autism. It is now known that it is in the biological make up of the child. As for an epicdemic of autism I dont think so, I think it has been made more aware and as the different scopes of autism ranges so wiild that a lot of of autistic kids were not diagnosed right .A goverment cover up I don't think so .I don't know where you live but I bet you are in a place where you will try to blame any one apart from nature Ann > > Subject: Re: This is good news........ ....... > To: AutismBehaviorProbl emsyahoogroups (DOT) com > Date: Friday, February 27, 2009, 2:16 AM > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Ann, > I have proof that J's autism came from the > shots. he had 2 shots given to him when he was 18 months old. Guest guest
Because too many people try to blame things on other people or things. People seem to be obsessed with sueing people for this that and the other. And there is nothing to substanciate any cause for autism at all other than it it is the childs make up or genes.. And no I am not of the old school and I do believe in testing but most innoculations are tested throughly before given. But why do people want to blame some one else. At the end of day no matter what the most important thing is your child. > > Subject: Re: This is good news........ Guest guest
Autism has been here for a lot of years and the only reason why people think it is now "epicdemic"is becuase more it it more known about what with the media and such. it was not long ago that autistic people were labled as mentaly ill and there wer swallowed up in those stats so to speak. Autism is a relatively new condition and still not a lot known about it.AnnSubject: Re: This is good news...............To: AutismBehaviorProblems Date: Friday, February 27, 2009, 3:29 AM I understand this but when someone else challenges someone to make them fell inadequate or talk about sueing I go off. Go and ask your kids doc where the autism comes from and he will say it is in his make up. Have you not asked that ? Guest guest
Ann, No one, even the CDC, knows 100% without a doubt what causes autism. For me personally, I can look back and see that my boy was most likely born with autism. However, I know plenty of people who have children that were developing fine until they had the MMR shot, then they lost speech, social skills, etc. Is is genetic? I'm sure. Could it possibly be set off by environmental factors like allergies or vaccines? Absolutely. The point is - nobody knows. Whatever your doctor told you is just an opinion...just like the opinions that all of us have. There are people out there who are bound and determined to point a finger at someone for causing their childs autism. They might even seem to spend more time pointing fingers than taking care of their child. In those cases, it is a sad thing, but it may just be that the parents are having difficulty dealing with their emotions about their child's diagnosis. We've all been through various stages of dealing with it - and there are days when we are still dealing with it. However, from what I've come to know of the women in this group - none of these women are spending their time ignoring their children and being "sue-happy". Quite the opposite - we have mothers who are truly looking to help their children to the best of their ability, and we have open, respectful discussions about our opinions on various topics. You have a right to your opinion. However, you shouldn't use that opinion to make another person feel inferior. Guest guest
I agree....let's work together to support each other and the kids. Its our job as a parent.Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerryFrom: Liza C Date: Thu, 26 Feb 2009 20:14:39 -0800 (PST)To: <AutismBehaviorProblems >Subject: Re: This is good news............... Ann,No one, even the CDC, knows 100% without a doubt what causes autism. Guest guest
My oldest daughter, now 26 had severe reactions to her first DPT shot, screams like you have never heard a baby scream before, then 22 hours after her MMR she had a grand-mal seizure. She stopped breathing in the ambulance, but they were able to bring her back. At the time you had to have a Dr. refer you to the vaccine injury list, and no Dr agreed with me that the shots caused her problems. She is fine now no problems. I read a book back then called " DPT A Shot in the Dark " which made me cry with some of the stories in it. The federal gov took over the injury list and changed the law about being able to sue drug manufacturers since so many quit making the vaccines because they had been sued. I believe that my son was born with the " chance " that he could be autistic (or anything else) and something triggered it. After the problems I had had with my oldest and her shots my younger 3 did not get shots like other children. Due to how strict I am on shots I do not think that the shots caused or triggered s' Autism. I do wish I knew what did though.
