Guest guest
Has anyone had any experience with Colloidal Silver inrelationship to improved immune functions or anycontraindications with HIV meds? This product is a scam. It has been around for years and it is purely crap. Guest guest
--you might be right but I think there are some old data in regard to its use as an anti-infective. However, there is absolutely NO evidence of any kind whatsoever (not even test tube studies) that it might help against HIV or have any important affect on the immune system. For bacterial or fungal infections, systemic ones should be treated with antibiotics. Otherwise, it can be used as a mouthwash--but even then, I'd probably use tea tree oil. Excessive use may result in argyria, reflected in a bluish cast to the skin/fingernails. M. > In a message dated 1/17/2005 5:51:09 A.M. Guest guest
Hello fellow sprouters! I have used Colloidal Silver for decades, but only from this company,. Colloids for Life. Years ago they had a listing of the research that was done on all the products on the market that called themselves 'colloidal silver'. I don't have time to find it on their website, but they give excellent info on the different types of silver that is sold, under the general claim of colloidal silver. The links to their website is below. They answer a ton of questions about their products. In their newsletter, they also have info on excellent results in using CFL silver to successfully treat hepatitis along with other health challenges. See " tests " for ecoli, etc http://www.colloidsforlife.com/ http://www.colloidsforlife.com/what-is-colloidal-silver.html Re:the blue man-from the site: Does Mesosilver cause Argyria or " Blue Skin " ? No. Argyria is a discoloration of the skin wherein the skin turns a blue-grey color as a result of over exposure to certain forms of silver. Argyria is known to be caused by ingesting; 1) silver salts (compounds) such as silver nitrate, 2) high concentrations of ionic silver, 3) protein based silver products AKA " silver protein " or " mild silver protein " . Argyria is not caused by true silver colloids which consist of nanometer sized particles of silver in pure water. The apparatus he is using produces very little colloidal silver. I had one before I did some research and ended up ordering from CFL. Expensive, but well worth it. Hopes this info helps clarify.
