Guest guest
Hi all, About a month ago (on a plane trip home from an ABA conference), I read the book--What You Need to Know About Motivation and Teaching Games by Ward, MA, BCBA. I literally started recommending the book right away to the person sitting next to me and have recommended it to dozens of people in the past few weeks. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and mother of a 12-year-old son with autism, I found this book to be a very useful guide to help parents and professionals learn how to most effectively teach children with autism to play games. The step-by-step breakdown of how to teach 12 common games is excellent and the data sheets provided are superb! I highly recommend this book to parents and professionals working to help children with autism or related disorders learn to play and, most importantly, enjoy games!
