Ha Ha. Well I guess next you can learn to BRAID them if you can find some

with the leaves still on them. I do hope those hose aren't too thick and

let a lot of air through. I think it looks OH SO SOPHISTICATED in black

like that. You got them so nicely spaced it is very decorative.

Thats beautiful Melody. It wouldn't last more then a week in our house due to

the volume of garlic we eat. But it looks so nice!

Hi n

Do you believe that Alan still has not noticed that I have 5 garlic cloves

hanging in my kitchen.

The man is blind as a bat. There obviously is no smell (not that I can detect).

People hang onions like this?? Do you do this?

And guess what I picked up today. a bag of Arrowhead Mills Organic Whole Millet.

I looked it up on Sproutpeople and I can sprout this.

I have NEVER sprouted or had millet before.

I was given this.

I need to know if this is safe for diabetics. Also, someone gave me a thing of

Whole Wheat Organic Couscous. I know how to cook this but it has a lot of carbs.

So I'm off to research these things at google.

If I soak and sprout the millet, I gather I just add some in my sprout salads??

This should be VERY interesting.

Usually millet is hulled and I don't know if it's sprouts. I used tomput it in

my bird mixes (birds love millet), but maybe you learned something while

researching.

I hang onions in my three tier basket. Onions, garlic, and herbs in one, and in

the other one, I hang mangoes, bananas, and whatever else needs ripening.

I have a standing three three tier thing on the counter that at the moment has

tomatoes, apricots, and avocados.

I've been searching supermarkets and other food stores for Ilocos, Philippine

garlic here in Texas. This garlic has very strong sharp garlic taste and aroma

and has a faint sweetness in it. Great for cooking and as a condiment mixed

with vinegar and salt when eating fried foods. It is said to have more potent

medicinal value as well. Even in the Philippines it is hard to find them. Sad

even the variety is not known. This particular one is endemic to the

Philippines. Now, just like here tasteless Taiwan/Chinese garlic is what you

find.

Farmers' Market garlics are so bland if not tasteless.
