I know exactly what you are saying, food also has really been my everything..  I

really like how you set your intention when picking out a meal.  It's so

deliberate.  If it's not to personal, would you mind sharing some intentions?  I

am still a beginner at the program and working on some of these details.

It's easy to pack your kid's and sweetheart's lunch everyday,  you really look

at the nutritional content and make sure it's well balanced.  I really send my

kids to school with super foods everyday, I want them to do well in school.  But

it is am amazing how I " disconnect "   when I am near food.  It really is like a

drug.  What is that all about?  On the positive side I have many opportunities

for improvement.

Stacey ,

If someone does not have a smile, give them yours.

I do Intuitive eating but I do it my way. That said I'm working on

portion control, which has in the past been hard for me. So what I have

been doing is getting what I consider a yummy frozen dinners, I don't

even look at the back of the box to check calories or fat and eat only

that for dinner. I pick it out in the morning..... to establish my

intent.....then have that and only that for my dinner meal. Beings I

eat when I'm hungry I can eat again before bed if I get hungry. But I

have also noticed that my tummy does not like to go to bed with food in

it.

It's working really well....in fact so well that I had a " terrifying "

thought on the way home from work...With the way I'm progressing one of

these days I might not be able to binge even if I want too. Food has

been my everything for so long that that thought terrifies me.
