Hi. I don't really post here a lot, but I have some crud going on right now

that I need some suggestions or at least support on. For a few weeks, my

mother-in-law, with whom we live, hasn't been feeling all that great, but it's

been worse this past 7 days. She's literally been in bed most of this time.

Which has shot everything all to hell and gone. Because she can't move

much, we're doing 99.999999999% of everything. She calls on the cell phone

crying because she needs food, or she needs to be told whether she can take

such

and such medications together, or she just needs one of us to be standing

there, taking in her Jewish Mother guilt trip. PLUS, it's TTOTM for me, which

sets all three of us off. I haven't been to the gym in a week, I'm TRYING to

cook healthy, having made a nice dish from the 30 Minute Diabetic Cookbook,

which nearly killed my husband because he can't have " that much " curry powder

(a tablespoon in a huge pot of Bombay Chicken stew!!!), I'm so tired my brain

hurts, I can't get a half hour where I can just sit with the podcasts and

chill out, my temper, already legendary, is almost totally out of control.

Every time I put on my headphones, she calls wanting something else and starts

sobbing if I don't get to her fast enough. THEN, to top it all off, when I

finally lose it and either start crying or yelling, I get " You can't do that.

You make me feel like the White Man's burden. Why are you so angry with me?

Why, why, why? " So, I get all this shit and cannot channel it anywhere. And

we're off to the races. Any words of advice? She's crying again. Grrrrrr.

Gotta run.

Amy
