Guest guest
le, A little bit of bio-identical progesterone might be just what your doctor would not order, but it wouldn't hurt to ask. I used to get dizzy before I was prescribed thyroid and progesterone. I don't anymore. I currently use Prometrium (progesterone in peanut oil in a capsule) as my insurance will pay for part of the cost. I also have Progest-E Complex on hand which the doctor would not prescribe as it is one of those that is available without a prescription. It is by Kenogen and available through them or several websites. If you look for it, be sure it is spelled exactly as above and referenced as being Kenogen and Dr. Peat's. It is progesterone in Vitamin E oil (the good one). If is safe to ingest and works, but if a cream appeals to you more, then your pharmacist may have a formulation that your doctor can prescribe. In a prior post, I listed reading resources. Many more online if you search for natural progesterone or bioidentical progesterone. Ann > > Hi everyone > > I experience dizzy spells every so often. Guest guest
Hi le. I have had that before and it was just as simple as my ear drum pressing on my ear bone. You can have this and have no other symptoms. I was just thinking about this last night for some reason. The last time I had this a friend was at my house and I needed to go to the bathroom and couldn't walk I was so dizzy. So my friend got in front of me and I closed my eyes and put my arms around her waist and we hurried, ALMOST to the bathroom. I got too dizzy and fell down and yelled, get me a pan. And she rushed and returned to me with a plastic bucket just in time. It is really unbelievable what a tiny little piece of skin on bone can do to you. Doc told me to hold nose and close mouth and blow through closed nose. Gently. This will sometimes relieve the pressure. Must be gentle tho. The cause is a vacuum in the eustacian tube. You can have a little drainage their and not even know it and the drainage can cause a suction that pulls the ear drum in so it presses on the bone and the next thing you know the room is spinning. It should pass on it's own in short order. If it does not you might think about using some hydrogen peroxide or vitamiin o drops to encourage the process to move more quickly. Not a doctor Donna dizziness Hi everyone I experience dizzy spells every so often. I had a bad one yesterday that lasted a long time. It was so severe that I vomited 3x. Since I had eaten only a few nuts, mostly bile came out. I am generally very healthy at 59 years young, very physically active and have been in to health for 30years. I have been unable to figure this one out, and it has me worried even to the point of maybe consulting with a medical doctor(shudder). Besides Meunieres disease, what could it be a symptom of. I also post menopausal, never took hrt. le _________________________________________________________________ STOP MORE SPAM with the new MSN 8 and get 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail OxyPLUS is an unmoderated e-ring dealing with oxidative therapies, and other alternative self-help subjects. Guest guest
Thanks Donna, I am still feeling a little woozy from it. Mine ususally lasts hours and closing eyes makes it worse. I will do that though it sounds logical. le _________________________________________________________________ Tired of spam? Guest guest
Hi June, I too have experienced bouts of dizziness while battling the dragon. I didn't make much of it, thinking it was just part of my TX, so I just sat back down until it passed. It is interesting though that you experienced the same thing. Peace, D
