[VerbalBehavior] ABA/VB in Argentina

Dear Friends,

Well, now that our congress is over, I can finally

get in touch with you and let you know some of the

issues and achievements of that very stressing but

rewarding event.

On the whole, it turned out above all expectations:

First it’s the second time something of this kind has

taken place in Argentina. There were many remarkably

good presentations, with a very interesting exchange

of new ideas and methods. I have to mention in

particular Schramm’s presence and his Verbal

Behaviour approach to ABA. He also presented his book

“Educate Toward Recovery,” which has been translated

into Spanish. The audience of about 800 teachers,

assistants, professionals and parents were really

impressed with Schramm’s and others presentations. A

week before, lectured 130 parents and

professionals in a 16 hour workshop over two days in

Buenos Aires.

I expect next year to be able to organize another

similar experience.
