Bogie, Which side effects do you have? Any side effects should be reported to your dr., if he said that you don't know what you are talking about, then I would look for another doctor. Guest guest Posted June 7, 2004 Report Share Posted June 7, 2004 I am starting to get numb hands, like I would have capl tnl syn. It just would not happen to both hands at the same time. I take 40mg's 1 x daily of Lipitor. It was increased in JAN from 10mg's. I'm now reduced to being a walker(used to jog before all the fun) and my knee's are killing me. I'm tired as heck most everyday. I fumble for words like my Dad did in his late 70's.I'm 47. He also took a statin!! Carry on Mr.Ed.......a very good cause. Money is the root of this evil. Have you ever injured your knees earlier in your life? Is it both knees? Both hands numb?.... makes you want to go hmmmmm... I only have a BA degree, but this is just too easy. Anyone with common sense can figure this out? Have you told your doctor of your side effects? What does he/she say each time you complain about them?
