Today I didn't have dinner until I was really hungry which lead to

semi-binging. After I had a quasi dinner, my husband was eating some

ice cream which I polished off for him. Then I wanted more and I

thought " of course you do, it's not food you need right now. " No

wonder I binge eat. When I am trying to fill the void where happiness

and inner peace should be, no amount of food will be enough. This may

seem obvious to some of you, but it just now occurred to me after 4

months of listening! I have tried many different phrases so I can

stop a binge attack in its tracks, but I think the new phrase I am

going to take for a beta test is " No amount of (insert food item) will

be enough for you. "

Incidentally, for someone who posted a question about whether to weigh

or not, one other technique I use is to divide up my multiple

wardrobes into separate bins based on the number of pounds I think I

have to lose in order to fit into the clothes in that bin. I have a 5

lb bin, 10 lb bin and 15 lb or more pound bin. Those bins are my

toward motivators.

I hope some of this is helpful to you guys!

Jenn
