I remembered what I forgot to add

yesterday. The itching is getting worse (a symptom of cirrhosis) but the

weird thing is that the place where I itch the most is my ears! Sometimes

it feels like a hair tickling me but looked and there’s nothing there.

I also have had some numbness in my

left foot and leg. This has come and gone for a long time. Chris

and I were rear-ended a couple of years ago, and it was much worse. The

docs did an MRI and I was told I had “spiral damage to the s-nerve.”

I’ll mention it’s getting worse to my doctor.

The software on my phone I was

talking about is from epocrates.com. The drug reference is free, though

some parts of the program are locked because they are not free. Still, it’s

written for doctors and updated through the internet. There is another

free part; a medical calculator. I can calculate my meld-score, among

other things. If I did it right, it’s only 5. I’ll

check that with the doctor, too.

It’s good for me to write about

this stuff; it helps me when it’s time to talk to the doc. I know I’m

forgetting something else again….
