Guest guest
I'm sitting here wondering how I would be now regarding living with someone first. I know for a fact if Vince and I weren't married, we would have been through the first two years that we were married (course, we married at age 20, dating three year first). We left for Oregon two days after our marriage and California after that (NORTH DAKOTA girl moving to California - what a learning experience!!!! I remember driving to Woodland and wondering what huge city we were in - there was NO SPACE what so ever between the suburbs!!!) - if we would have lived closer to home, I would have left many, many times. Instead, I would drive to the airport and pretend I was on the airplane flying out!!! We did almost divorce once out there - I had had it. Thank God I never left, because 10 years later, it was all worth it and I am so thankful that Vince and I grew together instead of growing apart. I traveled to other states to see Vince twice the year before we got married and was very close to being ousted from my family. It was an awful time as I am very close to my them but I loved Vince too. I just read my diaries from that time - LORD, I wonder how I got from there to here???!!! But being 20/21 living together I think is a little different then even at 25. I think I would rather live with someone first now even if the chance of giving my dad a second heart attack was there (no, he didn't have his first one until five years ago so Vince and I weren't the cause of it! LOL).
