Hi Andy,I use a Seiko pocket metronome that I've had for years. It's the size of a credit card and only about a quarter inch thick. You set it for how many beats per minute you want, and it counts with a beep sound. I set mine for about 55 beats per minute, just for a little extra "hold time". It's worked really well for me, like I said, for many years.I don't think they make that model anymore, but there are some newer ones that look good, and I see there are some available on ebay. There's one for $17.95 - if you're interested, do a search there for Seiko DM-50 digital pocket metronome. They're probably available elsewhere too, I just happened to check ebay for them.RonnTo: bullworkerclub Sent: Sat, May 7, 2011 5:40:11 PMSubject: Countdown Timer for Holds?

Hi all,

Just curious if any of you use a countdown timer for holds. Just to stay absolutely honest with the number of seconds. :)

Or do you all just count in your head?

Or look at a clock?

Warmest wishes,

Andy

Hi , hi Ronn,

--Thank you for replying, it's nice to know how you're doing it!

Ronn--That's a great tip, thank you! I'll give that some thought and have a look

on Amazon and Ebay.

Wishing you both a fun week.

:) :)

Great, one more method, thanks for sharing it!
