Hi,

My autistic son did not have the vaccine, but his doctor gave him the homeopathic MMR. After this his twin sister got mumps very mildly (she also had the homeopathic MMR) and my son did not catch it.

So I'd recommend going down that route from my experience.

Hope this helps

Why is it, just asking, that doctors think (want to believe) that mumps is some

major pandemical disease?

I had it, you probably had it - the brainwashing of the last 20-30 years has

been so successful - very scary what has happened to this and the last

generation.

Hi there, and welcome! I really enjoy Turbo Jam, but I don't know if I

can answer your question. One person's fun is another person's

torture. ;) For sheer fun, I enjoy the Crunch dancy workouts. I always

enjoy those. I never know what's going to seem like fun from one day

to the next. Welcome to the group, though!

I'm sorry to hear this. Yes, fitness can take a back burner for awhile as you

focus on your family. I hope your son is getting some therapy and is okay.

Hugs,

,

I am so sorry that you are struggling with your son's cast. I know that it can

be hard to see your son in a cast but I now that my son has been in his for 4

months it is just normal, not an intrusive part to our days. I'm sure that is

hard to believe but he is back to all his old activities (minus sand and water)

and we are so used to things like diapering that the cast doesn't even seem

factor in. Your son will also forget that he is wearing something foreign,

probably before you do. It's impact on our daily lives is minimal.

Have faith that the cast will work. Most children have phenomenal results. I

was really worried about it for the first casting and needed the reassurance

that it was working. When we went for our 2nd casting Cole had improved from 47

degrees to 23! It was amazing. It will get easier for you both, especially

after you see him making improvement.

Hang in there,

Jenn

Mommy to Cole, 20 months, 2nd cast from Rochester, 23 degrees down from 47,

possible chiari malformation

Hi , If your son just got casted 4 days ago, I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND what you

are feeling right now. DOUBT is huge, as are GUILT, REMORSE and ANXIETY. Take

heart in knowing that all of us in this support group are either in the

beginning, middle or end of the very same journey that your are on--and the

success rate has been astounding! This stuff really works, (:

Are you new to this group? Perhaps you feel so lost because you haven't had much

help or support throughout this process? I would have felt the same way if it

had not been for the guidance from all the caring parents who had " been there. "

Anyway , you are in the toughest part right now, and it will only get

easier from here. We are here to help you with any questions you may have. I am

so glad your son has begun the casting process because this means his little

spine is on its way to growing straight!

p.s. gives us the details on your little boy(:

Dianna (mommy to Marcela, 16 mos. in 2nd cast)

Hi

Your feelings are perfectly normal. I went through, and am still going through the same thing and so is everyone on this site. But rest assured that the people here are absolutely amazing and will get you through your darkest days. You will probably go through many emotions. After Peytons first cast I felt like someone had taken my soft cuddly baby and in-cased him in this hard foreign "thing", its like I was grieving and missing my "old" baby. But please understand, you will get use to the cast and your son will be ok. And if that doesn't help just remember you are doing an amazing thing for him right now, even though you might have feelings of guilt, you are doing the right thing!!! Hang in there, its tough but you will get through it especially with the help from this group.Lynn

My son got his first one 6 days ago , and it IS hard and emotional. But this group really helps and you don't feel so alone. It is sad to see your child like this, but I can tell already, my son is playing and laughing and having fun just as usual. He just has his "moments". Good luck. OH, and YES, Mehta casting does work. Hi everyone, just joined. I do not know where to begin but glad I found this

group. My symptoms started a year ago with mostly heart palps. Had every test

done to my heart and even saw a GI specialist who found nothing. Was told I have

anxiety and put on Xaxax. Ended up in ER more times than I care to say and it

wasn't until my blood pressure skyrocked and my potassium dropped to 2.5

recently when my dr. checked my aldo level and my first appt. with an

Endocrinologist was this week. She's having me load up on salt for 3 days and do

the 24 hr urine. In the meantime I feel horrible and when I go to my primary dr.

on Monday I have to talk to him about my bp b/c it still runs high. I'm tired,

sick, alone and scared and my insurance is very limited. Afraid of needing a

ctscan, mri, some type of procedure or surgery and not being able to have it

done. I'm sorry this is long but I feel like I'm slowly dying... please help!

We would recommend DASH and Spiro for now. May your pressure be low!CE Grim MS, MDSpecializing in DifficultHypertension

Yes, aldo high and renin low. So now the Endo Dr. is having me do 24hr urine. What could the results mean? She was explaining it to me but my mind was a mess.

RE: Hi

Your doctor checked your aldo level? Results? Did he also check renin?

If you have PA, it is likely an expensive medicine (spironolactone) + DASH

will fix your blood pressure and other symptoms. If that normalizes your

blood pressure, there is no need for CT and AVS.
