Guest guest
Hi , Its Friday evening and the list has been quiet for awhile. I just looked at my last post and the number of KOs didn't appear. There are around 60 of us on this list and lots of them are newbies. If you want to, you can go to the listserv and sign in and read through the ModOasis list archives. http://www.yahoogroups.com/group/ModOasis Yahoo and eGroups merged awhile back so you may have to get a Yahoo ID -- like you can pick " " as your ID and then a password and you can have all of your eGroups lists available under that ID. I just don't want you to get lonely, standing out there in the cold on a Friday evening. Hugs, Edith

Guest guest
As far as I know, it's not against any religion to do BFL. I don't think that God wants you to just sit by and do nothing to help improve yourself. He gave you a body and you need to treat it the best that you can. I think if you would do BFL, it would show Him how thankful you are to be alive. Do you go to the doctor when you are sick? One could say that you are trusting God if you do that, but that isn't true. If we thought that God didn't want us to do anything to help ourselves and to only put all of our trust in Him, wouldn't we all just sit around and be vegetables not doing anything for ourselves and waiting for food, water, shelter, and clothing to fall out of the sky? Guest guest
Hi Steve, just had one word of input ~ I am a strong christian (church going, at that! =) and last night I watched one of the BFL videos called Body of Work. It is very inspirational if you can get ahold of it. I believe they will send it to you for free if you look on the BFL website ~ they only ask that you send a $15 donation to Make A Wish if you feel it has helped you. Anyways, on that video (it's about the first 10 champions in the first contest Bill ever did)one guy was really adamant that this is about FAITH and believing. He said, God gave me this body as a gift, and it is up to me to give it back to Him as a gift. I thought that was really great, because thinking about this perfect, fantastic body God has given us ~ it wouldn't be fair to let it go to pot and end up giving it back to him all wasted and ruined. So I look at it like I'm giving him back a healthy body that can actually do more for Him in helping others because I have sooo much more energy! HTH, Sherah > am i to late to enter this year i regestered on the site but have not > got my packet yet what time is the very last day the contest has to > be finished by. plus i need help with some mental problems im haveing > getting into this 1. is that i used to be a really big bodybuilder > and now im not at all and im finding it very hard to go to the gym > without getting down on myself and where i am at how do i get over > this and just start over without old expectations bothering me and > getting to me? 2.for some reason i feel guilty about entering this > like im not trusting God to fufill me im a Christian ide really like > to talk to some other church going Christian who have or are doing > this right now for some support. thanks for any help any of you can > offere me my email is dreamadream37@y... bye, steve hanson
Guest guest
The videos are great! And if we have a healthier body, we might end up doing more to help other people since we will have the energy. Guest guest
Sondra, I would love to know more about your situation in life. How is it that you fell in love and got married. I often think how sad it would be that my daughter would never have the feeling of being in love with a man and want to get married. Let alone have children. Please tell me, if you want, how you deal with the intricacies of being in love. If this is too personal then tell me to mind my own business. I am so thanking to God to all of the women here who give us this most precious insight to our daughters. I have been forwarding these messages to my husband and it has changed our life DRAMATICALLY. Thank you and God bless. Bridget Re: Hi > I would love to be your friend and your email pal. You know what we all go > into our own world honey and its alright. I to think the world in which we retreat is more of a safe haven to us. It is not the autism in itself we are saying because if so that would mean autism is a choice , but it is a inner place of scripts and self play and thoughts that can be to consume some of us to the point of not being able to connect to the real of life. It is a mode of self protections and self preservations. Some can go their by choice but many of us go there without thinking , we to just find ourselves there. have no clue how long we to be there but just like wake up finding selves there . like day dreaming. Like in trance of inner swirling thoughts that are forming to visuals with meanings. The husband of me to often say Hey when you to come back to earth hope you will sahre of you journey. or that I will be to share to him what was of so funny. as sometimes find self laughing to self over teh visual pictures that come to my thinkings. Guest guest
, can you give me a typical days menu, Just breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack and dessert? Bridget(VA) Re: Hi Hi Lorna We are on a very restricted diet here. is gluten (wheat protein), casein (milk protein), soy, corn, potato, additive/preservative, dye free. Also low sugar too. Jess had some sensory issues, their much better now after the diet. Red dye seems to effect a great deal of people. When you get sensory sensative, try and remember what you ate that day. If you want to know more about special diets, please ask. I am a walking book of knowledge here, and love to help people. I truly believe that God gave me to help others. There is also a book that describes sensory problems. Its called " The Out of Sync Child " . It seems that you are a visual/perseptual learner, is also. I think that I am as well. I was wondering how old are you, if you don't mind me asking?? What are you going to college for? I would love to be a Psychologist, but unfortunately, I started school in my 40's. Yes being a single mom is really tough. I have a really nice boyfriend though, we don't live together. He is a farmer which is really cool. loves going to the farm and playing with the goats. My favorite animal are the cows, especially the babies, they are so cute. Do you like the out doors? I live in NJ, what state are you in? I actually grew up in the city, but have always had country in my heart. xx
