Guest guest Posted October 24, 2011 Report Share Posted October 24, 2011 I can absolutely, positively report that they did NOT draw correctly. She used a band and prodded my vein! (She did draw it first! After I suggested she not contaminate it with the other tubes.) She has only been there for a month so she was recently trained. I explained being too forceful would rupture the whatevers and invalidate the test. She was real interested but also not wanting to deviate from what she had been taught. Suggested I present my concerns to the " Standards Review Committee " . Guess I got another job! - 65 yo super ob. male - 12mm X 13mm rt. a.adnoma with previous rt. flank pain. Treating with Meds. And DASH. . Current BP(last week ave): 131/76 HR 60 Other Issues/Opportunities: OSA w Bi-Pap settings 13/19, DM2, and PTSD.
