Guest guest
I had the grandma of a CP female patient ask if I could put in Implanon so the pt would not have vaginal bleeding. I guess otherwise she bleeds all the time irregularly. She is confined to a wheel chair and uses briefs for bowel and bladder. The grandparents are incredibly attentive to the 24 year old patient. Of course I said I don't do Implanon, but I said I would look into natural alternatives. The grandma is a devout Catholic and wanted to know more once I explained why I don't do birth control. This is a hard, real life, situation. What do you all think I should do? Amy Hogan, MD
