Guest guest
Bella is the name I have chosen for my next dog (I love it)- the poor baby must be miserable. You should go to the vet and get some of the monthly flea treatment that you squeeze onto the back of the neck - Advantage or some similar brand and do this in about 48 hrs after the bath - perhaps bomb the area of the house she frequents and wash her bedding. Hopefully you can nip it in the bud if you hit all areas at once so fleas are not habitating off her body waiting to pounce back on in a few days. If they are a big prob in the cold weather now, she must really suffer in summer. Keep up the monthly treatment every 3 weeks (check with the vet). They will live in your back yard in the grass so will be permanent and you'll need to keep up the treatment and baths. I buy a nice oatmeal shampoo and conditioner from the vet which smells divine and has soothing qualities in it for irritated skin. Scooter needs a bath bad at the moment but it has been too cold and wet. Anyway he gets one next week at the kennels so that will do till I get back. OMG so much washing. It's a full time job being a wife and mother isn't it - you guys are so under appreciated. Yes tomorrow another day and I'm looking forward to it - this one has been a doozie and only 3 more days till duck - don't forget to bring photos with you on Friday please.
