I think that TBTV #15 is what AL5 would have been like if hadn't gone down to the floor for 45 minutes! It has the same pace as the cardio in AL5. It was grueling!!! Thanks guys!! Sherry >> That is a really hard question. If I had to choose (which I don't want to ever have to do, which is why I have so many tapes), I would pick AL4. I like the music and the moves. It's very aerobic. There are not too many repetitions which is easier on the joints and the standing ab moves (balancing moves) near the end are always challenging. I did modify. The tears were because I was disappointed that I couldn't keep up and that I had to modify. You know I still have a bit of that " all of nothing attitude " in me. Guest guest
Sherry, I'd have to say AL4 is my favorite advanced tape. It was the first advanced tape that I actually " enjoyed " doing. It's a good intermediate level tape with no floorwork. I guess I could say that it has some sentimental value to me as it was my bridge from the basic tapes up to the advanced level. Guest guest
I also have to vote for AL4. VERY VERY FUN, a great pace, pretty good music, and easy to get thru even on a rough low-energy day... Amy

I did it yesterday and wondered why I hadn't done it in a while I loved it and found it fun and challenging but not too I did BL4 today....trying to do 1-4 for some repetition and found it to be fun and challenging as well....I was sweating in the warm-up!!! AL4 is very good on the joints and great for the balance as Elena pointed out which is why I think I like it best! But much like Elena I have a hard time finding a favorite I love them all for something different in each one. That is what makes Tae-Bo work AmyBeth-who has to do AL1 tommorrow and although she loves it is dreading the beating lol
Guest guest
Wow!!!!! What a great response! Seems like AL4 is the favorite! I am curious if anyone has Al7, Al8 or Al9 yet? Any comments on those? I have mostly basic workouts and only have a couple of the advanced. Now that I am doing the Advanced more, I want to extend my collection for variety!!! :> Sherry __________________________________________________
Guest guest
I was wondering, do they still have taebo tv? I had heard about it but also heard they cancelled it. I need some variety and am not ready to shell out $$ for more tapes. We've got a satellite so it seemed like the perfect solution.

That's the key to keeping it fresh - VARIETY, VARIETY, VARIETY!!!! Ann Marie - who's finding now that the hardest thing about Tae-Bo is picking which workout to do! Especially with 48 TBTV workouts! Guest guest
, Sorry to say, but TBTV is over. The last workouts that aired were in June. The originals aired from March thru May, and in June they ran re-runs from the previous months. I have DirecTV and it was a great thing to have TBTV on it, esp. with the monthly subscription price. Ann Marie - who hopes they run TBTV again and who went through withdrawl from it ending like Amybeth! > I was wondering, do they still have taebo tv? Guest guest
> Hi guys! I was just curious what your favorite > Advanced Live tape is and why. Thanks guys!! Sherry Sherry, I really can't pick just one that is my favorite! The old AL2 has always been one of my favorites cause I really like the music and no matter how I feel before the workout, for some reason that one always gets me going! I also like AL4 for the same reasons that everyone else does. And AL8 is lots of fun! It's really too hard to choose just one...lol!

But I'd have to say AL4 is my favoite because it's so fun. is in a super-good mood in this tape, and he jokes and dances around more than usual, thus making me in a good mood. Also, he gives more time to " walk it out " than he does in some of the other AL tapes, making it good for the days when you don't feel up to doing an extremely hard workout, or for someone just beginning the journy to Advanced. My favorite part of AL4 is the " dance routine " has us do to the Supremes' song " The Happening " . I still get tears of joy in my eyes as he has us all join hands and kick. Wow, what an awesome tape. who feels the same way after the " join hands " part as he did when he first started Tae Bo......that teary eyed feeling of strong emotions. *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* Reach your full potential!
