I'm due to have labs drawn next week and return visit on Oct 25th. BP is

holding steady around 130/58 at home. Getting very tired of DASH! I want

cheese! Also very dizzy when standing, several near faiting spells where I get

dizzy and things go black and I need to lie down. Doc said could be low iron.

Also, at last appointment they did postural BPs and found BP is 20 pts lower

when I stand and when I lie down than when I sit. Sitting BP 132/60, standing

BP 98/50, lying down BP 110/60. So the doc said I should lie down more often

(hard to do when working full-time at a computer and chasing 5 children around).

I was also told to cut back on the exercise until we get the electrolytes and

minerals balanced. I'd been taking 10 mile hikes w/ my son who is working on

his hiking merit badge for boy scouts.

Other than that, ultrasounds show baby is growing although a little on the small

side seems to be catching up to her gestational age. We're all expecting the BP

to rise dramatically at the delivery like last time.

39 yr old, pregnant w/ 6th baby due Jan.1,2012. Total thyroidectomy 2005 for

Graves, diagnosed w/ PA in 2007. Taking Armour thyroid, but no BP meds since

pregnancy started.
