Seems like I have seen warnings about alcohol and inspra. But could have been one of the meds to treat B/P

Suspect BP went down. May your pressure be low!CE Grim MS, MDSpecializing in DifficultHypertension

No explanation but an anecdote: I also rarely drink alcohol, but when I do I know that I can have two glasses of wine at most, and I will feel fine the next day. I never took Inspra, but back in June I was on spiro for three weeks. My birthday came around during that time and I went out for drinks with friends; had my usual two glasses of wine and had to stop midway through the second glass because I suddenly felt like I'd had about TEN glasses of wine. The room started spinning and I felt really disoriented and had to be taken home. I felt like I had been hit by a truck for two days afterward. Ugh. Haven't touched the stuff since!

I would recommend fewer pints next time. Some toast has lots of salt. How many pieces? What does label say?CE Grim MD Yep, 5 pints it is what is says on the tin...5 pints. I did not consume anything else while drinking. Toast b4 bed. also I am dashing except for the pints/toast that night of course. B4 Inspra I would pee constantly if I drank 1 or 2 beers. On 100mg for about a week now. I did not pee very much.It feels like the urine is almost stuck. Sounds strange but that is what it feels like. The hangover symptoms were intensified plus strong flank pain, very loose bowels, stomach cramps, dizzy, shaky. My bp was a bit lower. > > > Hi Everyone, > > Two days ago I met friends for a Christmas drink or 5 pints of beer. > > > > I don't really every drink much, the occasional beer or 2 but that is it. > > > > The next day I felt like I was hit by a truck. Yep, hiccup! The trick then is to stay on the booze to keep the BP down! ;-] > > > > > > > > > > Hi Everyone, > > > > > Two days ago I met friends for a Christmas drink or 5 pints of beer. > > > > > > > > > > I don't really every drink much, the occasional beer or 2 but that is it. > > > > > > > > > > The next day I felt like I was hit by a truck.
